Google Shopping review feed
Sofcy publishes your product reviews as a feed in Google's product reviews format. Add it to Google Merchant Center, and your ratings can show in Shopping ads and free listings.
The review feed needs the Awesome plan.
Turn on the feed
- Go to Settings › Google and SEO.
- Under Google Shopping, tick Publish the Google Product Reviews feed and save.
- Click Copy next to Product Reviews feed URL.
The URL is private to your store. Until the feed is on and saved, it returns Not found.
Add it to Merchant Center
- In Google Merchant Center, add a product reviews feed, and choose to fetch it from a URL.
- Paste the feed URL and set a schedule, such as daily.
Google has its own requirements for product reviews, such as a minimum number of reviews, and reviews it accepts can take time to appear. Check Merchant Center for the status of your feed.
What the feed includes
- Every published product review. Store reviews are left out.
- For each review: the reviewer's display name, whether they are a verified buyer, the date, title, text, rating and photos, and the product's name, link, SKUs, barcodes and brand.
- Reviews from request emails are marked as collected after fulfillment.
- Reviews you sent a coupon for are marked as incentivized, as Google's review policy requires.
- The publisher name is the same store name your emails use: the sender name, or else the customer-facing name in Settings › Branding, or else your store's handle.
On the Reviews page, the Status filter's Google Shopping › Eligible for submission option shows which reviews on the current page are in the feed.
