Collect reviews

The review form

The form opens from Write a review in the Review widget or the Write a review block, and from the stars in a review request email. It takes a shopper through three or four short steps.

The steps

  1. Rating. How would you rate this product? (or this store, for a store review), from Poor to Great. Picking a star moves on.
  2. Review. The review text, up to 5,000 characters, and an optional title, up to 100.
  3. About you. Email address and display name, and the consent box I agree that my review and display name can be published.
  4. Photos and videos, if you allow them. Share a picture or video, by clicking or dragging files, or by pasting a YouTube link.

On success the shopper sees Thanks for your review! We are processing it and it will appear on the store soon. If the order had several products, they can go straight on to Review another product.

Arriving from a review request email, the form opens by itself with the name and email filled in and the clicked star selected.

Verified buyers

A review is marked Verified buyer when it is written from the link in a review request email sent to that customer, for that product. That link proves who bought what.

You can rename the label in Language, and filter by it on the Reviews page.
