Cards carousel
A carousel of review cards with the rating, review text, photos and videos, and the reviewer's details. Featured reviews come first. In the theme editor this block is called Review carousel.
Where to put it
The home page is the usual place, just above the footer or under your featured products. It works on any page, including product pages, where it shows that product's reviews by default.
Add it
- In the app, go to Settings › Widgets and click Install on Cards Carousel. The theme editor opens your home page with the block ready to add.
- Or add it yourself: in the theme editor, click Add section, open the Apps tab and choose Review carousel.
- Drag it where you want it, set it up, and click Save.
The Sofcy Reviews app embed should be on.
Settings
This carousel is styled in the theme editor. Its colours and fonts follow your theme, and its stars use the star colour from Settings › Widgets.

Maximum reviews | How many reviews the carousel holds, 1 to 30. Default 20. |
Maximum width | 600 to 1600 px. Default 1200. |
Corner styling | Square, Soft or Round. Default Soft. |
Transition speed | Seconds between slides, 0 to 60. Default 5. Set 0 to stop it moving on its own. |
Choosing reviews
All four carousels (Cards, Testimonials, Videos and Review snippets) share the same Reviews selection options:
- Auto (based on page): the current product's reviews on a product page, and all product and store reviews anywhere else.
- All reviews, Product reviews or Store reviews.
- Current product: only on product pages. Elsewhere the block shows "This block is available on product pages."
- Pinned reviews or Featured reviews: the reviews you pinned or featured on the Reviews page. See Pin, feature, tag and edit.
Only published reviews ever appear.
