Uninstalling

You can uninstall at any time from the apps list in your Shopify admin settings. Here is what happens next.

Before you uninstall

Export your reviews. On the Reviews page, use Export to download them as a CSV. See Export reviews.
Plan for your theme. Shopify removes app blocks and embeds when the app goes. Check your pages afterwards for gaps where a widget used to be.
Cancel the plan if you only want to stop paying. You do not have to uninstall for that. Switch to Forever Free in Settings › Plan and keep everything. See Plans and billing.

Straight after uninstalling

Your Awesome subscription, if you had one, ends. Shopify stops billing for it.
The review widgets, the review form, review-request links and referral codes stop working on your storefront.
No more review requests or reminders are sent.
Your data is kept for now.

Reinstalling

If you reinstall before your data is deleted, everything comes back: reviews, settings, requests and history.

When your data is deleted

About 48 hours after you uninstall, Shopify sends Sofcy a request to erase your store's data. Sofcy then deletes all of it, including reviews, photos and videos, reviewers, requests, questions and settings. This cannot be undone. If you reinstall after that, you start fresh.

Coupon and referral codes are ordinary Shopify discounts. After uninstalling, check Discounts in your Shopify admin and delete any you no longer want customers to use.
