Scheduling and reminders
All in Settings › Request scheduling. Changes apply to orders that come in after you save.
Timing
Each row opens an editor. Pick a delay long enough for the customer to have received and tried the product.
| Orders | Settings |
|---|---|
| Domestic orders | Order trigger: After fulfillment (default) or After delivery. Send review request after: 0 to 365 days. Default 14. |
| International orders | Use the domestic timing. |
| Point of sale (POS) orders | A delay after fulfillment, 0 to 365 days. Default 7. |
After delivery waits for Shopify to learn that the parcel arrived. Choose it only if your carriers report deliveries to Shopify through tracking.
Need a different delay for some products, such as a skincare line that takes weeks to show results? Use Custom timing per product.
Automatic reminders
Off by default. Reminders go only to customers who have not reviewed yet.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
Send automatic reminders | Turn on the first reminder. |
Send first reminder after | Days after the request, 1 to 365. Default 7. |
Send a second reminder | Turn on a second, final reminder. |
Send second reminder after | Days after the first reminder, 1 to 365. Default 7. |
Reminders use their own templates in Email templates. If a customer unsubscribes, their pending reminders are cancelled.
Requests schedule
Collect reviews for this many items per order: 1 to 7. Default 1. With 1, a customer who bought three products is asked about one of them.
Request limits
Limit review requests sent to a customer: Unlimited (default), Once every 30 days or Once every 90 days. A limit stops frequent buyers from getting an email after every order.
