Admin notifications
Emails to you and your team, not your customers. Set them in Settings › Admin notifications.
Where alerts go
Enter an Admin notification email, such as reviews@yourstore.com. Without one, no alerts or copies are sent.
Alerts
| Setting | You are emailed when | Default |
|---|---|---|
Notify me when a new review needs moderation | A review arrives pending. | On |
Notify me when a customer email cannot be delivered | A review request fails to deliver. | On |
Notify me when a new question is posted | A shopper asks a question. | On |
Each review or question triggers at most one alert.
Negative review notifications
A separate card, off by default. Turn on Email me when a negative review is submitted and choose what counts as negative with Negative review star rating: 1 star, 2 stars and below (default) or 3 stars and below. A quick reply to an unhappy customer often turns things around.
The admin copy
Send me a copy of each email sent to customers is off by default. When it is on, every customer email, including requests, reminders, confirmations, replies, coupons, referral emails, question answers and update requests, is also sent to your notification address, with [Copy] in the subject. Copies go out after the customer's email and never delay it.
Turn the copy on for your first week to see exactly what customers receive, then turn it off before it fills your inbox.
In the app
The bell on the Home page lists the same things without email: reviews to moderate, unanswered questions and failed requests. See Home.
